LUMIX - A transparent crystal quartz rock, was until recently used for carving ornamental pieces and jewellery, and is now available in large scale slabs for the first time to make counter tops and feature walls, with back light. Although this dazzling quartzite appears delicate and light, it is in fact non porous and scratch resistant as its hardness is similar to that of a diamond.
